SpendWise is a personal finance management tool that allows users to track expenses, organize budgets, and utilize Artificial Intelligence features (including receipt scanning and AI-driven financial insights). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.

3. Financial Disclaimer (Not Professional Advice)

The information, analysis, and AI-generated responses provided by SpendWise are strictly for educational and informational purposes only. SpendWise is NOT a certified financial planner, investment advisor, or legal/tax professional.

Any financial insights or budgeting suggestions generated by our AI should not be construed as professional financial advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. We strongly recommend consulting with a licensed financial professional before making significant financial commitments.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

When using our Services, you agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the application or its AI models.
• Upload receipts or images that contain malicious code, highly sensitive illicit material, or content that violates third-party rights.
• Abuse the AI chat feature by spamming or attempting to bypass safety filters.

5. Intellectual Property & Trademark Declaration

The SpendWise name, the SpendWise logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of SpendWise or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

All original content, features, and functionality within the app (including custom UI designs, AI prompt architectures, and software code) are owned by SpendWise and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SpendWise, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated hallucinations or incorrect financial calculations.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
